Vigorous Climber with Glorious Trumpet Blooms
Morning Glory is a fast-growing annual climber that produces masses of large, vibrant, trumpet-shaped flowers that open in the morning and close by afternoon. Ideal for fences, arches, trellises, and containers — it brings a splash of summer colour and attracts pollinators.


🛒 What You’ll Need:

  • Morning Glory seeds

  • Pots or seed trays for starting indoors

  • Peat-free compost

  • Garden bed, large container, or hanging basket

  • Trellis, obelisk, or fence for climbing

  • Watering can


🌿 Growing & Care Instructions

1. Sowing Indoors (Best Mar–Apr)

  • Soak seeds overnight to improve germination.

  • Sow 1–1.5cm deep in pots or trays filled with moist compost.

  • Keep at 18–21°C in a bright spot.

  • Harden off before transplanting outdoors.

2. Direct Sowing Outdoors (May)

  • After all risk of frost, sow seeds direct where they are to flower.

  • Sow 1.5cm deep, 20–25cm apart, next to a climbing support.

3. Germination

  • Germinates in 7–14 days.

  • Water regularly but avoid waterlogging.

4. Transplanting
